I created this project during my GCSE's, therefore it it not recent, although it is still appropriate because it links into my new work that focuses on absences. My initial thoughts for my ‘war’ series were literal, however as I progressed through the project I started to think about my own personal wars. For example, my uncle passing away. This played an essential part within my thinking for this work.
