Living in Whistler, Canada is inspiring. Exploring the vibrant art scene, natural beauties and unique ski and snowboard mountain lifestyle of British Columbia has had a huge impact on my artwork. The 'Fear and Loathing' and 'Borderlands' snowboard ideas formed when I decided that I wanted to reconstruct an old damaged snowboard, I was reading the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas book at the time, and playing the Second Borderlands game and fell in love with the illustrations. The Bear snowboard was a top sheet I designed for a powder board.
